The Merit Preparatory Academy Knights basketball squad (Springville, UT), was outscored 91-79 in Monday's league battle with the host Varsity Opponent (, )

With the victory, Varsity Opponent advances its record to 385-1283 on the year. The travel to Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN) to meet the Rams in a Division II-A East District 1 battle on Monday, January 27. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 12-11. Grace Christian Academy lost 69-52 in their recent non-league battle against Heritage (Maryville, TN)
