The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) and the host Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL), observed Seneca's basketball team overcome Midland by a margin of 50-36.

The Fighting Irish (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Lowpoint-Washburn dropped by Dwight (Dwight, IL), 51-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a Tri-County challenge, on Friday, February 7. Midland will attempt to better on its 7-15 season record.
