Ohio High School Basketball - Steele triumphant over Midview

January 27, 2025: Amherst, OH 44001

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) and the visiting Midview Middies (Grafton, OH), observed Steele's basketball team overwhelm Midview by a score of 93-68.

The Comets (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH). The Shoremen come into the Southwestern challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Avon Lake was routed by Lorain (Lorain, OH), 61-59, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Middies encounter the Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Midview will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 62-49 league loss to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH).
