Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), 74-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Rice Memorial advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Green Knights travel to South Burlington (South Burlington, VT) to face the Wolves in a Metro match on Wednesday, January 29. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 9-5. South Burlington won 51-35 in their recent non-league match against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)
The Cougars now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Champlain Valley Union for a Metro match on Thursday, January 30. Mt. Mansfield will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 61-57 league loss to Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Redhawks record now stands at 7-6.
