North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwood crushes Southeast Alamance

The Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC), 72-51 in Monday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 18-2 record. They play next when they host Bartlett Yancey for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout on Tuesday, January 28. Northwood will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 51-40 league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Southeast Alamance falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to play the Jets in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout on Friday, January 31. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Jordan-Matthews won 63-53 in their recent league bout against North Moore (Robbins, NC)
