The South Harrison Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish to 39 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Braxton County for a Little Kanawha - East game on Saturday, February 1.

With the loss, Notre Dame falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Fighting irish travel to Hundred (Hundred, WV) to confront the Hornets in a Ohio Valley A game on Tuesday, January 28. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 2-7. Hundred lost 71-65 in their recent league game against Cameron (Cameron, WV)
