The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) and the visiting Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY), observed Owensboro's basketball team overwhelm Trinity by a score of 82-31.

The Red Devils (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles come into the District 9 challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Apollo trounced McLean County (Calhoun, KY), 60-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY) in a District 12 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 77-63 non-league loss to Logan County (Russellville, KY).
