California High School Basketball - Ponderosa overwhelmed by Woodcreek

In Monday's league test, the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), by a score of 72-40.

Next, the Timberwolves encounter the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference test, on Wednesday, January 29. Woodcreek will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 15-8 record after their 56-44 league win over Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA).

The Bruins (5-18) will now prepare for their test against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Broncos come into the Capital Valley Conference outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Bella Vista routed Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA), 73-59, in a non-league outing.
