In Monday's league contest, the host Tuscarora Huskies basketball team scored a good 68-49 triumph over the Rock Ridge Phoenix.
The Huskies (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom (South Riding, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Freedom topped Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 63-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Phoenix battle the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) in a Dulles contest, on Friday, January 31. Rock Ridge will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 72-48 non-league win over Lightridge (Aldie, VA).
