In Monday's non-league test, the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) basketball squad defeated the visiting Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT), by a final score of 55-39.

Next, the Hilltoppers clash with the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) in a Metro test, on Thursday, January 30. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Seahorses come into the test with a 15-2 record after their 89-54 league loss to Essex (Essex Junction, VT).

The Raiders (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT). The Green Wave come into the Southern Vermont - A test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Mt. St. Joseph Academy went down by Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT), 68-45, in a league test.
