The Serra Cavaliers basketball squad (Gardena, CA), was crushed 90-47 in Monday's league battle with the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA)

With the victory, St. Anthony advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Saints host St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to meet the Swordsmen in a Del Rey battle on Wednesday, January 29. The Swordsmen enter the battle with a record of 15-10. St. Paul lost 68-62 in their recent league battle against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA)

The Cavaliers now own a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bernard for a Del Rey battle on Wednesday, January 29. Serra will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 71-68 league loss to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 17-8.
