The Shields Panthers (Beatrice, AL) basketball were winner over the visiting Sweet Water Bulldogs (Sweet Water, AL), 52-35 in Monday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Marengo for a 1A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Shields will play a Panthers team coming off a 48-33 league loss to Shields (Beatrice, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Sweet Water falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Millry (Millry, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-8.
