Next, the Chiefs clash with the Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) in a 3A Region 8 test, on Thursday, January 30. Tylertown will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 9-14 record after their 69-62 league loss to West Marion (Foxworth, MS).

The Fighting Irish (9-17) will now prepare for their test against St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Rock-a-Chaws come into the 3A Region 8 test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, St. Stanislaus overcame Tylertown (Tylertown, MS), 38-28, in a league test.
