The Cumberland Valley Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Altoona Mountain Lions to 42 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host State College for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Cumberland Valley will confront a Little Lions team coming off a 24-19 non-league win over Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA). The Little Lions record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Altoona falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Mountain lions travel to Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to confront the Campers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Campers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Allegany lost 68-31 in their recent non-league game against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD)
