Alleluia Community Angels (Augusta, GA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA), 55-28 in a league match.
With the victory, Alleluia Community advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Angels travel to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 15-5. Briarwood Academy won 58-16 in their recent non-league match against Mead Hall Episcopal School (Aiken, SC)
The Panthers now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith Christian Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Peachtree Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 27-17 non-league loss to Trinity Prep (Loganville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
