The Tigers (5-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Earle (Earle, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region 3 challenge with a 19-5 record. In their last challenge, Earle defeated Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR), 57-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Hoxie will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 60-33 league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR).
