Kansas High School Basketball - Bucklin victorious over Ashland

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Bucklin Red Aces basketball team scored a good 45-30 triumph over the Ashland Blue Jays.

The Red Aces (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS). The Longhorns go into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Hodgeman County topped Meade (Meade, KS), 38-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Jays battle the South Gray Rebels (Montezuma, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Ashland will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 13-0 record after their 57-52 league win over South Central (Coldwater, KS).
