With the victory, Pine Grove advances its record to 15-11 on the year. The Panthers host Belmont (Belmont, MS) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 21-5. Belmont won 49-41 in their recent non-league match against Walnut (Walnut, MS)

The Blue Devils now own a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byers for a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, February 4. Ashland will face a Lions squad coming off a 85-25 non-league loss to Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Lions record now stands at 8-15.
