The Augusta Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats to 43 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now have a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mason County for a District 39 game on Wednesday, January 29. Augusta will confront a Royals team coming off a 59-57 non-league win over East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Royals record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Pendleton County falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY) to confront the Black Devils in a District 38 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Black Devils go into the game with a record of 3-8. Robertson County lost 72-30 in their recent league game against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY)
