The Pirates (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Indians go into the District 44 contest with a 19-0 record. In their last contest, Madison Central nipped Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 62-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Briar Jumpers battle the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Somerset will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 62-58 non-league loss to Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY).
