In Monday's league contest, the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored a good 57-48 triumph over the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms.
The Knights (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Trojans go into the A Section 1 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Rushford-Peterson was topped by Cotter (Winona, MN), 59-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Awesome Blossoms battle the Randolph Rockets (Randolph, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Blooming Prairie will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 41-32 non-league loss to Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN).
