The Boyd County Lions basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Fairview Eagles to 20 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Blazer for a District 64 game on Tuesday, January 28. Boyd County will play a Tomcats team coming off a 68-29 non-league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Tomcats record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Fairview falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Eagles host Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 7-9. Dawson-Bryant lost 62-14 in their recent league game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH)
