The Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC) basketball edged the host Richard Winn Academy Eagles (Winnsboro, SC), 33-29 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Cheraw for a AA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Buford will play a Braves team coming off a 101-32 league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Braves record now stands at 13-6.
