In Monday's league contest, the visiting Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team scored a big 62-33 win over the Mammoth Spring Bears.

The Timberwolves (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR). The Screamin Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest was trounced by Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR), 50-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Mammoth Spring will attempt to better on its 10-15 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 62-46 league win over Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
