The Conneaut Spartans basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting St. John Fighting Herald to 44 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now have a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Madison for a Chagrin Valley - Lake game on Wednesday, January 29. Conneaut will confront a Blue Streaks team coming off a 63-53 non-league win over Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, St. John falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Fighting herald host Chalker (Southington, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a Northeastern - Stripes game on Wednesday, January 29. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-10. Chalker lost 34-29 in their recent non-league game against Bristol (Bristolville, OH)
