In Monday's league contest, the visiting Fairmont Cardinals basketball team scored a big 76-33 triumph over the Luverne Cardinals.
The Cardinals (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Belle Plaine was trounced by Marshall (Marshall, MN), 83-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28.
