The Groveton Eagles were victorious over the visiting White Mountains Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 47-28 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles face the Lisbon Panthers (Lisbon, NH) in a Division IV battle, on Friday, January 31. Groveton will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-12 record after their 38-25 league loss to Profile (Bethlehem, NH).

The Spartans now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mascoma for a Division III battle on Friday, January 31. White Mountains will meet a Royals squad coming off a 57-33 league loss to Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH). The Royals record now stands at 1-14.
