The Roanoke-Benson Rockets basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards to 35 in the Rockets league triumph on Monday.

The Rockets now have a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a Tri-County game on Thursday, January 30. Roanoke-Benson will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 59-29 league win over Midland (Varna, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Henry-Senachwine falls to 12-14 on the campaign. The Mallards host St. Bede (Peru, IL) to confront the Bruins in a Tri-County game on Thursday, January 30. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 16-10. St. Bede lost 46-45 in their recent non-league game against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL)
