The New Kent Trojans basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Jamestown Eagles to 38 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Tabb for a Bay Rivers game on Tuesday, January 28. New Kent will confront a Tigers team coming off a 38-34 league win over Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.
