With the victory, Lanier advances its record to 12-10 on the year. The Longhorns host Milton (Milton, GA) to meet the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 15-6. Milton won 67-36 in their recent non-league match against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA)

The Gladiators now own a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowcreek for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Johns Creek will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 54-47 league loss to Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-16.
