California High School Basketball - Palm Springs holds off La Quinta

January 27, 2025: La Quinta, CA 92253

The Palm Springs Indians basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host La Quinta Blackhawks to 49 in the Indians league triumph on Monday.

The Indians now have a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Xavier Prep for a Desert Empire game on Wednesday, January 29. Palm Springs will confront a Saints team coming off a 68-26 league loss to Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Saints record now stands at 8-17.

With the loss, La Quinta falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA) to confront the Rattlers in a Desert Empire game on Wednesday, January 29. The Rattlers go into the game with a record of 2-10. Rancho Mirage lost 70-26 in their recent league game against Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA)
