In Monday's league contest, the host Lakeview Sailors basketball team scored a big 52-15 win over the Mercer Mustangs.

The Sailors (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Reynolds (Greenville, PA). The Raiders come into the District 10 Region 1 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Reynolds was trounced by Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA), 82-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Jamestown Red & Green (Jamestown, NY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Mercer will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Red & Green come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 56-36 non-league win over Mount Mercy Academy (Buffalo, NY).
