The Perrydale Pirates nipped the visiting Lewis Academy Watchmen basketball squad by a final score of 31-30 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Pirates face the Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR) in a 1A Casco outing, on Wednesday, January 29. Perrydale will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record.
The Watchmen (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Mountaineers enter the 1A Casco outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter was nipped by Mapleton (Mapleton, OR), 47-32, in a non-league outing.
