West Virginia High School Basketball - Lincoln overwhelms Robert C. Byrd

The Lincoln Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Robert C. Byrd Eagles to 20 in the Cougars league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Fairmont Senior for a Big Ten game on Wednesday, January 29. Lincoln will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 59-58 league win over North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Robert C. Byrd falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Preston (Kingwood, WV) to confront the Knights in a Big Ten contest on Wednesday, January 29. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 4-8. Preston won 53-49 in their recent league contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV)
