Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mahanoy Area overwhelms Shenandoah Valley

The Mahanoy Area Golden Bears basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils to 20 in the Golden Bears league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Bears now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Weatherly for a Schuylkill County 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. Mahanoy Area will play a team coming off a 32-23 non-league win over Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA). The record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Shenandoah Valley falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a Schuylkill County 2 game on Wednesday, January 29.
