The Mesa Verde Mavericks basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting San Juan Spartans to 7 in the Mavericks league triumph on Monday.
The Mavericks now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Highlands for a Sierra Delta League game on Wednesday, January 29. Mesa Verde will confront a Scots team coming off a 44-13 league loss to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Scots record now stands at 0-16.
