West Virginia High School Basketball - Mingo Central routs Mount View

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Mingo Central Miners basketball team scored a big 73-29 triumph over the Mount View Golden Knights.

The Miners (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks go into the Coalfield AA contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, James Monroe smashed Jefferson Christian Academy (Ripplemead, VA), 66-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Knights confront the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Mount View will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 73-32 non-league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA).
