The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) and the visiting River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD), observed Mt. Hebron's basketball team knock off River Hill by a score of 50-39.

The Vikings (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks come into the Howard County challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, River Hill dropped by Washington (Charles Town, WV), 55-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. River Hill will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 48-41 league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD).
