The North Pocono Trojans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Valley View Cougars to 40 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now have a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Scranton Prep for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. North Pocono will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 61-44 league win over Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-0.

With the loss, Valley View falls to 15-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA) to confront the Buckhorns in a Lackawanna 2 game on Thursday, January 30. The Buckhorns go into the game with a record of 7-7.
