In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Norwin Knights basketball team scored a good 56-47 win over the Upper St. Clair Panthers.

The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Mt. Lebanon defeated Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), 33-25, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 2 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Upper St. Clair will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record.
