The Straughn Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Pike County Bulldogs to 30 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they host New Brockton for a 4A Area 4 game on Tuesday, January 28. Straughn will play a Gamecocks team coming off a 45-36 league win over Bullock County (Union Springs, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 11-11.
