The Trinity Episcopal Titans (Richmond, VA) basketball edged the visiting Saint Gertrude Gators (Richmond, VA), 63-61 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Titans now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Episcopal for a VISAA Division I bout on Thursday, January 30. Trinity Episcopal will play a Maroon team coming off a 53-34 league loss to Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The Maroon record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Saint Gertrude falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Gators travel to St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA) to play the Scotties in a LIS bout on Thursday, January 30. The Scotties go into the bout with a record of 12-7. St. Margaret's lost 71-53 in their recent league bout against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)
