In Monday's league contest, the host Temple Academy Bereans basketball team scored a big 46-12 win over the Wiscasset Wolverines.

The Bereans (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME). The Vikings come into the D South contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Vinalhaven was trounced by Buckfield (Buckfield, ME), 49-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME) in a D South contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Wiscasset will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 63-6 non-league loss to Carrabec (North Anson, ME).
