The Victory Baptist Warrior basketball team scored 31 points and limited the host Trinity Prep Lions to 22 in the Warrior non-league triumph on Monday.

The Warrior now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Sugar Hill Christian Academy for a GCAA Region II game on Tuesday, January 28. Victory Baptist will confront a Stallions team coming off a 35-17 non-league win over North Georgia Christian Academy (Ellijay, GA). The Stallions record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Trinity Prep falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Lions host Faith Christian Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-5. Faith Christian Academy lost 39-10 in their recent non-league match against Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA)
