The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) and the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), observed George C. Marshall's basketball team knock off McLean by a score of 45-35.

The Statesmen (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 31. McLean will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
