The Avon Old Farms Beavers ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Westminster School Martlets to 2 in the Beavers league victory on Monday.

The Beavers now hold a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loomis Chaffee School for a bout on Wednesday, January 29. Avon Old Farms will play a Pelicans team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Pelicans record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Westminster School moves to 6-7 on the season. The Martlets travel to Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) to play the Big Green in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Big Green go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Deerfield Academy won 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT)
