In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Jal Panthers basketball team scored a good 35-24 win over the Eunice Cardinals.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Texico (Texico, NM). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Eunice will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 47-45 non-league loss to Loving (Loving, NM).
