Texas High School Basketball - Frenship overwhelms Abilene

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) and the visiting Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX), saw Frenship's basketball squad wallop Abilene by a tally of 80-30.
With the victory, Frenship improves its record to 26-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Odessa (Odessa, TX) to confront the Bronchos in a 6A Region I District 2 test on Friday, February 4. The Bronchos go into the test with a record of 21-7.
The Eagles now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they host Odessa for a 6A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, February 1. Abilene will encounter a Bronchos squad coming off a 53-48 league loss to Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Bronchos record now stands at 21-7.
