In Friday's league outing, the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), by a margin of 39-18.
The Eagles (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dumas (Dumas, TX). The Demons go into the 4A Region I District 4 outing with a 22-3 record. In their last outing, Dumas smashed Hereford (Hereford, TX), 61-52, in a league outing.
The Rangers now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Pampa for a 4A Region I District 4 outing on Tuesday, February 1. Perryton will clash with a Harvesters squad coming off a 61-52 league loss to Borger (Borger, TX). The Harvesters record now stands at 16-8.
