The Clarksville Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Detroit Eagles to 45 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maud for a 2A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, February 1. Clarksville will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 42-39 league loss to McLeod (McLeod, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-17.
The Eagles (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels enter the 2A Region II District 16 contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Rivercrest triumphed over Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX), 60-34, in a league contest.
